Countdown 2 Zero” is a retro 1950's Sci-Fi music driven movie written and directed by Robert Diaz LeRoy and scored by the band Rullian. The live performance offers the audience a remarkable one-of-a-kind film going experience. Rullian will perform the score live as the film plays.
Movie Synopsis:
The year is 1955. McCarthy's America has fanned the fires of the fear mongers consuming much of the countries citizenry making the world outside and inside the borders of the USA perceived to be a hostile. The alarmed US Government feels that it must execute extreme measures to stem the tide of radical ideas influencing Americans young and old. In this paranoid state the Federal Government “outlaws” music of all kinds across the country. Violators are imprisoned. The consequence of this Fascistic America sets the stage for earth to be invaded by an Alien.
One Scientist warns the powers that be that there will be an invasion. He is ignored and the invasion soon follows. The extraterrestrial hunts down people by tracking them through the sound waves of their speech, making puppets of his victims. Within days thousand disappear across the land. The entire population is told that the must remain silent of the will now fall victim to this malevolent force from beyond. The military decided to use “The Atom-Bomb” against the alien. The Alien discovers one of America’s dark secrets about the Atomic bombing of Japan. Can mankind be saved?
